Growing up, I was an extremely active kid, a competitive gymnast and a world-level cheerleader. As I got older, this passion evolved into a love for rock climbing, ice climbing, and hiking. Through these sports, I’ve experienced my fair share of injuries, which ultimately led me to discover chiropractic care and its incredible impact. This journey sparked my passion for helping others realize just how strong and resilient the human body can be.
I began my academic journey at MacEwan University, studying Physical Anthropology and Archaeology in Edmonton, Alberta. While I loved the field, I knew I wanted a career that combined healthcare with helping people reach their goals. This led me to Portland, Oregon, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Human Biology alongside my Doctorate of Chiropractic degree at the University of Western States (UWS).
In my clinical practice, I incorporate a variety of techniques, including diversified (hands-on) chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapies, and rehabilitative exercises. I have a special interest in treating complex, chronic, and long-standing neurological conditions - such as disc-related issues, sciatic pain, and pinched nerves - using the McKenzie Method. As a climber myself, I am also well versed in climbing related injuries and stressors.
I’m passionate about empowering my patients by helping them embrace their strengths and overcome limitations. Through evidence-based education and personalized treatment plans, I strive to address injuries at their root cause and promote long-term recovery.
When I’m not in the office, you’ll likely find me on a mountain adventure with my husband or curled up with a good book and my dog. Looking forward to seeing you in the office!
