Pilates group classes
Small classes with individualized attention
At Ludica, group classes are limited to 3 participants, allowing instructors to provide meaningful coaching and individualized progression.
Classes are designed to help you build strength, coordination, and confidence while exploring new movement patterns that can reduce pain, improve efficiency, and support the activities you care about.
How to Start
new to the reformer
Start with Level 1 - Foundations classes, or join a 4-Week Intro Series if you’d prefer learning alongside other beginners.
Foundations classes introduce the equipment, core Pilates principles, and foundational exercises at a steady pace with clear instruction and coaching.
Previous Pilates Experience
Even if you have prior Pilates experience, we ask new clients to begin with a Level 1-Foundations class or a Private Session.
This allows us to learn how you move and help guide you toward the most appropriate class level.
Many experienced clients move to Level 2-Developing or Level 3-Advanced classes quickly after their first session.
Prefer a More Individualized Start?
You may also choose to begin with a Private or Duet Session, which allows for more personalized instruction and can help prepare you to join group classes.

Our Class Levels
Level 1 - foundations
This is the starting place at Ludica - and also an excellent place to stay.
Classes move at a steady pace with detailed instruction and coaching, making them ideal for:
• New clients
• Anyone returning after time away
• Clients who prefer a slower tempo
• Those focusing on refining fundamentals
You’ll build strength, confidence, and familiarity with the equipment.
We also offer intermittent 4-Week Intro Series for clients who prefer a more structured introduction.
level 2 - developing
Developing classes build on foundational skills and act as a bridge between experienced beginner and intermediate work.
You can expect:
• More complex combinations
• Expanded repertoire
• Increased flow and continuity
• Layered progressions and regressions
The pace may vary slightly depending on the group in the room, and instructors will continue to tailor challenges appropriately.
This level supports coordination, endurance, and skill refinement.
level 3 - Advanced
Advanced classes are designed for experienced, consistent clients who can move confidently on the equipment and navigate complex repertoire.
These sessions emphasize:
• Fluid transitions and a faster pace
• Longer sequences
• Greater strength and stamina demands
• Athletic and dynamic progressions
This level assumes familiarity with the exercises and allows for more continuous flow through the repertoire.

PRIVATE CLASSES
Can’t find a class time that fits your schedule?
You can book a private TRIO class just like a regular appointment and invite two friends to join you. The cost is the same as a regular 3-person group class, but you get the flexibility to choose a time that works best for your group.
Sessions can also be tailored to your group’s goals and experience level.
Look for “TRIO – Private Class” in the Group Class list on JaneApp, or contact us if you’d like help booking.
