At Ludica, our small-group Reformer classes (maximum 3 participants) give you focused attention while offering the energy of a shared training environment. Each class blends strength, mobility, control, and thoughtful movement to support life beyond the studio.

New to Pilates or the Reformer? Start Here

If you're new to Pilates, the Reformer, or haven’t moved this way in a while, begin with:

  • Reformer Fundamentals, or

  • 1–2 Private Pilates Sessions with one of our instructors.

We’ll help you build confidence, learn how to use the equipment safely, and establish foundational movement skills before transitioning into group classes.

If you’re unsure where to begin, we’re happy to recommend a starting point.

  • Reformer Fundamentals

    Start here if you're new to Pilates or new to the Reformer. This small-group class focuses on the basics, how to use the equipment safely, understand core Pilates principles, and begin building strength, awareness, and control. Plan to attend at least 4 sessions to develop a strong foundation. From there, your instructor will guide you toward the next level.

  • Beginner

    Once you’ve learned the fundamentals and your instructor feels you’re ready, this slower-paced class will help reinforce your skills. You’ll continue to develop body awareness, explore core movement patterns, and build confidence on the Reformer with supportive guidance and thoughtful cueing. Must have previously attended a minimum of 4 sessions/classes.

  • Experienced Beginner

    This class bridges the gap between Beginner and Intermediate. You’ll move at a steady pace with less explanation, building on the fundamentals you already know. Expect a mix of familiar Beginner exercises and select Intermediate progressions, with supportive cueing to help you take on new challenges safely and confidently.

  • Intermediate

    This class is ideal for clients who are gaining confidence and consistency in their Pilates and reformer practice. Expect a moderate pace and more varied, creative sequences. You'll start exploring more complex exercises with options to tailor the level of challenge to your body.

  • advanced

    Designed for experienced clients who have logged significant time on the equipment. This class includes more advanced choreography, full-body integration, and challenges to strength, balance, and coordination. Participants must be confident using the Reformer and have a solid understanding of classical and contemporary Pilates repertoire.

private & Semi-private pilates

Private sessions are ideal if you:

  • Prefer 1:1 coaching

  • Are working with pain, injury, or movement limitations

  • Want focused skill development

  • Are preparing for group classes

Your instructor will assess movement patterns and build a personalized plan to support your goals.

Duet Sessions (2 People)

Train with a friend and share the cost. Duets offer personalized attention while keeping the social connection and fun of shared movement.

Initial Private, 75 min: $90
Subsequent Private, 60 min: $80
5-Session Package, 3-month expiry: $383
10-Session Package, 6-month expiry: $720

Duet Pricing (per participant)
Single Session, 60 min: $45
4-Session Package, 3-month expiry: $180

5% GST will be added to all purchases. 

Packages for Group Classes can be redeemed with any instructor.

Packages for Privates, Virtuals and Semi-Private sessions are only valid with 1 instructor.

All packages are non transferable and non-refundable.

Please note that rescheduling or cancellations require 24hrs notice.  A cancellation fee of 100% of the session total will be applied for any missed or late cancelled sessions.
